Our Heritage

The Soil of Bhagalpur

Our story begins in the historic city of Bhagalpur, Bihar. Known for its silk and its soil, the region's unique microclimate and rich, alluvial Ganges basin earth creates the perfect environment for the Jardalu mango—a fruit so distinct it was awarded a Geographical Indication (GI) tag.

Bhagalpuri Jardalu

The GI-Tagged Jardalu

Unlike common varieties, the Bhagalpuri Jardalu is celebrated for its distinctive light yellow skin, incomparable sweetness, and a signature, lingering aroma that fills the room. For generations, these mangoes have been a prestigious gift, favored by royalty and dignitaries across India.

Farmers Hand Picking

Generation Spanning Care

Aam is a collective of local farmers dedicated to preserving the integrity of the Jardalu. We employ organic farming practices passed down through generations. Every mango is allowed to mature naturally on the branch, strictly avoiding calcium carbide and artificial ripeners. We hand-pick and water-wash each fruit, ensuring you taste nature exactly as intended.
